How to Read Odds
Betting odds are written in three formats — Decimal, Fractional and American. vaggo generally uses Decimal format, but all three formats carry the same information.
Team A's win price: Decimal 3.00 = Fractional 2/1 = American +200. Stake ৳200 — if you win, you get back ৳600 (৳400 profit + original ৳200 stake). If you lose, the full ৳200 is gone.
Team B's win price: Decimal 1.80 = Fractional 4/5 = American -125. (A negative American odds figure shows how much you need to stake to win ৳100.) Stake ৳200 — you get back ৳360 (৳160 profit).
Decimal odds close to 1.00 mean that team is a strong favourite. Above 3.00 means an underdog — lower probability but a higher potential return.
